We recently caught up with Themba, a determined student who, through partnering with the Feenix Trust, we were able to assist last year.
FS-Systems was able to contribute towards Themba's study fees as one of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for 2018; in order for him to complete his BSc in Electrical Engineering at Wits University. After receiving his results, Themba relocated to Cape Town for an Electrical Engineering internship opportunity in the Petroleum and Gas industry. Now six months into the internship, Themba has no regrets. He says it has been an interesting learning curve and he is loving it.
We would like to once again thank Feenix for the amazing work they are doing for the youth of South Africa, and commend Themba for working so hard to get this far.
