The University of Cape Town commenced with a Proof of Concept installation at their Upper Campus, where they are actively using the Sera4 Keyless Padlocks to secure high risk areas, where access is needed to be managed with multiple service providers.
The solution provides centralized management of digital keys through the use of Smartphones to control locks and access points over Bluetooth.
